In photos: Metrorail train derails in Paarl

A Metrorail train derailed at Dal Josafat station in Paarl on Tuesday evening.

A PRASA spokesperon at the scene said 25 people were injured and five had been transported to local hospitals by paramedics.

Two coaches and the locomotive went off the rails.

There were about 400 people on the train at the time.
